WWE Superstar LA Knight, who has a history with Bray Wyatt, has shared his thoughts on The Wyatt Sicks. Last month, The Wyatt Sicks made their highly anticipated debut on WWE RAW, causing chaos by confronting Chad Gable and several backstage officials.
Despite the attack, Chad Gable escaped without major injuries. Since their debut, the faction has repeatedly targeted Gable. He initially sought The Alpha Academy’s aid, but Otis refused to assist.
In the latest WWE RAW episode, Gable called out Bo Dallas, also known as Uncle Howdy, leading to an altercation where Gable and his new allies, The Creed Brothers, attacked Dallas. The Creed Brothers and Chad Gable have been seen backstage for months, teasing a new alliance in WWE. With Gable receiving no support from his former faction, The Alpha Academy, it’s clear he now has the backing of The Creed Brothers.
LA Knight, who also has a history with Uncle Howdy, faced Howdy during his Mountain Dew Pitch Black match with Bray Wyatt last year. Knight was Wyatt’s last opponent before Wyatt tragically passed away in August 2023.
The Wyatt Sicks, currently led by Bray Wyatt’s brother Bo Dallas, pay homage to The Wyatt Family, originally led by Bray Wyatt with Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, and Braun Strowman. Knight, who has a significant past with Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy, has shared his thoughts on the faction.
LA Knight reflects on early doubts about The Wyatt Sicks
The Wyatt Sicks received a lot of love from fans upon their debut, but wrestling veterans were critical of the faction. Many veterans argued that introducing supernatural forces like The Wyatt Sicks would pose a challenge for WWE’s creative team.
WWE Superstar LA Knight appeared on the Battleground Podcast, where he commented on the Wyatt Sicks. He mentioned that despite Bray Wyatt’s absence, there was initial skepticism about its potential. He stated, “It seems like in the absence of Bray, I think a lot of people would expect, ‘Ah man, maybe this is kind of an odd move. Is this gonna have legs to it?’ And it seems like so far so good. It’s got some pretty good legs from what we could see.”
The Wyatt Sicks are currently in a feud with Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers, while LA Knight is focused on challenging Logan Paul for the United States Championship.
