Presumed Innocent is the latest series from writer, executive producer, and showrunner David E. J.J. Abrams and Rachel Rusch Rich of Bad Robot will executive produce with David E. Kelley Productions. Additional executive producers include Gyllenhaal, Matthew Tinker, Dustin Thomason, and Sharr White. Anne Sewitsky and Greg Yaitanes will direct and executive produce. Turow and Miki Johnson are listed as co-executive producers.
Turow’s novel was adapted into a 1990 feature film by Alan Pakula, with Harrison Ford as Rusty Sabich. The film became a smash hit, grossing over $220 million worldwide on a $20 million budget.
