Paramount Pictures has dropped another video in the lead-up to Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. The highly-anticipated action figure opus stars Anthony Ramos and Pete Davidson, and is scheduled to hit theaters on June 9.
The video highlights Peter Cullen’s legacy as the long-time voice actor of Optimus Prime. It features a commentary from Cullen, as he recalls his monumental first audition as the Autobots leader. The legendary performer began his run as Optimus Prime during the very first Transformers series.

What is Transformers: Rise of the Beasts about?
“Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure and introduce the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons,” says the synopsis.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is being helmed by Creed II director Steven Caple Jr. from a screenplay written by Joby Harold. It stars Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Peter Cullen, Michelle Yeoh, Pete Davidson, Ron Perlman, Peter Dinklage, and more.
In addition, eOne and Paramount Animation are also teaming up for an animated Transformers prequel movie titled Transformers One, centered around Optimus Prime and Megatron’s origins in Cybertron. It will feature the voices of Avengers: Endgame stars Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson.
