The Injustice animated film supposed to come out this fall and Warner Bros. has now give a more specific release date. The Injustice movie will be coming to physical (through 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray formats) and digital storefronts on October 19, 2021. The 4K Combo Pack will be $39.99 and the Blu-ray will be $29.99. The digital version doesn’t have a price attached, but digital copies of the recently released Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms, another Warner Bros. animated film, are currently $19.99.

This announcement does not come alongside a trailer as there still hasn’t been any official footage of the film. The only video of the film that has hit the internet was from a leak from a featurette found in Batman: The Long Halloween Part 2. There aren’t any new screen shots either, but it did at least get its official box art.
Some of the film will be shown at the DC FanDome, which is just a few days prior on October 16. However, it’s not clear how much will be shown since the press release only says that viewers can catch a “sneak peek.”

Warner Bros. already announced the cast for this film, which strays from the NetherRealm Studios-developed game it is based on. However, it looks as though it appears to have a very similar story and premise.
