Blood Free is a thriller K-drama with a storyline that revolves around the CEO of a genetic engineering enterprise, Yoon Ja-Yoo, a character played by Han Hyo-Joo. The group is working on making artificial meat by 2025. On the other hand, Ji-Hoon plays Woo Chae-Woon, a retired officer turned guard. He approaches Ja-Yoo and gets involved in mysterious life-and-death situations.

Chae-Woon’s character will be evolving as the story unfolds. He will be seen making decisions with intelligence and also doing some action-packed sequences. His equation with Ja-Yoo will also change accordingly as they grow closer to each other. The series will also show Chae-Woo’s injury and why he retired from his position and became Ja-Yoo’s guard. The production team of the drama Blood Free is very impressed with Jun Ji-Hoon’s performance. The director of the series, Park Chul-Hwan, expressed his feelings in an interview with XSports News. He said (originally in Korean), “He’s a very clever actor. He’s an actor who thoroughly knows how the results will turn out when he acts.” Cinematographer Kim Tae-Seong further added, “Actor Ju Ji Hoon is close to being a genius. He’s an intelligent actor, and he also has passion.”
