Disney Plus’s new upcoming K-drama Blood Free finally confirms its premiere date and releases a teaser poster. While the screenwriter of the series is Lee Soo-Yeon, Park Cheol-Han is directing it. However, it’s the lead cast members of the drama who are creating all the buzz among the audience. Joo Hi-Joon and Han Hyo-Joo have joined hands to star in Blood Free.
It is a thriller drama with a storyline that follows Yoon Ja-Yoo (Han Hyo-Joo), the CEO of BF (genetic engineering enterprise) which is working toward launching artificially cultured meat in 2025. On the other hand, there is Woo Chae-Woon (Joo Ji-Hoon), who is a retired officer-cum-guard. After he approaches Yoon Ja-Yoo, things start to get into chaos, and they get involved in mysterious deaths. What happens next is all about the drama.
Han Hyo-Joo is an amazing actress and her fans expect a lot from her. On the other hand, Joo Ji-Hoon will be complimenting her as the lead male in the drama.

In addition to Joo Ji-Hoon and Han Hyo-Joo, the series also features Lee Hee-Joon as Sun Woo Jae’s role (Prime Minister), who wants to take over BF.
Lee Moo-Saeng will portray On San, BF group’s founding member who also heads the research center. Kim Sang-Ho plays a biotechnologist Kim Shin-Goo, who makes key technology for artificially cultured meat. Jeon Suk-Ho plays Seo Hee who is BF’s IT expert while Park Ji-Yeon will be seen as Jung Hae-Deun who works as BF’s planning director.
Disney Plus drops the poster where a slice of artificially cultured meat can be seen. It is stamped with the logo BF in the middle. Along with the picture, the text reads, “Will you join us in this age of artificially cultured meat?”
Blood Free is set to premiere on April 10, 2024 on Disney Plus.
