Zombeavers is an eye-rolling, if winningly silly, title. Its the type of moniker that makes one afraid the ensuing movie will emit Sharknado and/or Sharktopus and/or Piranhaconda-level douche chills: movies engineered to be laughed at, not with. But Im not so sure thats the case, now that the official trailer is out.
Zombeavers has got a goofy premise for sure, but the look of the evil beavers, their seeming largely practical nature and, to be real, those bloody paw prints are smile-inducing. Heres hoping the rest of the film is, too.
Freestyle Media releases Zombeavers in theaters and on demand March 20th. The company also just announced their day & date release of slasher sequel Hayride 2 on March 6th. Find both trailers, below.
