What was last year's proof of concept piece is this year's anticipated (?) horror-comedy. Zombeavers is just one of the many films being shopped around at EFM in Berlin. Those cats behind Big Ass Spider, Epic Pictures, is handling sales and they have recently posted a trailer for Zombeavers.
Evan Astrowsky, JC Spink and Chris Bender produced and Jordan Rubin directed this tale of a group of kids who go out into the woods and encounter zombie beavers and bad "beaver" jokes.
Cortney Palm, the babe from Silent Night, stars along with Rachel Melvin, Hutch Dano and Jake Weary. Looks goofy, hope it's clever fun and that doesn't feel it can be lazy because it's got a title that will make you smirk.
