Survivos is making yet another boxing video game based in the Rocky and Creed universe called Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions. While announced in August 2020, the fighting game now has a release date. It will be coming out on September 3, 2021 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC for $40.

Creed Champions contains a whole roster of iconic fighters from the long-running series. Adonis Creed and Rocky Balboa will obviously headline the game while other fighters like Apollo Creed, Ivan Drago, Viktor Drago, Clubber Lang, and more will fill out the roster. Each will have a specific finisher and suite of costumes. The game will also feature an arcade mode as well as training and competitive modes. It’ll even have mini-games based around the training montage scenes from the films.
Survivos also claims it will have pick-up-and-play controls with “robust boxing mechanics.” The screen shots show that it has a super meter, health bars, and likely a stamina meter, making it more like a traditional fighting game.

While it features the likenesses of the actors, it probably doesn’t include all of their voices. Survivos hasn’t revealed the cast yet but only Michael B. Jordan reprised his role in the last Creed game. That last Creed game, Creed: Rise to Glory, was a VR game as were the studio’s other five titles. Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions is the studio’s first non-VR game.
