Originally announced last year, Warner Bros. Games offically revealed Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions during the Summer Game Fest on June 7. Developed by Unbroken Studios, the upcoming Harry Potter sports game has a release date set for consoles and PCs this fall.
When is the Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions release date?
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions release date is September 3, 2024, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Warner Bros. also confirmed the game will retail for 29.99. However, PlayStation Plus subscribers can play the new Harry Potter game on day one at no additional cost.
While Quidditch Champions’ is a standalone game, it offers an exclusive gift for Hogwarts Legacy players. The Legacy Pack includes the Moontrimmer Broom Skin, Sebastian Sallow Skin, Sebastian Sallow’s Wand, Ancient Magic Emblem, and Ancient Magic Celebration.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions was revealed during Friday’s 2024 Summer Game Fest. The animated trailer opens with Ron’s little sister, Ginny Weasley, watching Harry, Hermione, and her brothers tossing the ball over the Quidditch field. “As young witches and Wizards, we all dream of soaring through the sky like our favorite heroes,” she narrates, no doubt speaking for many Potter fans. The trailer then shows various teams competing in a diverse set of arenas.
Unfortunately, the Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions release date trailer didn’t show much gameplay. However, Warner Bros. confirmed the Quidditch game features single-player, online-co-op, and PvP multiplayer. It also features multiple game modes and lets players talk to the sky as any of Quidditch’s four roles: Beater, Chaser, Keeper, or Seeker. Presumably, fans will see more of the game as fall approaches.
