Paul Heyman’s Segment With The Bloodline Leaves AEW’s Top Personality Impressed

WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman impressed AEW commentator Jim Ross with his segment alongside The Bloodline. During the June 28 edition of WWE SmackDown, The Bloodline held an acknowledgment ceremony. Heyman, a usual swagger who carries a well-groomed appearance, appeared visibly stressed with an unshaven beard and a tense appearance.

The June 28 edition of SmackDown took a shocking turn during The Bloodline’s “acknowledgment ceremony.” When Solo Sikoa demanded recognition as the new Tribal Chief from Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu, they all paid their respect. However, the real shocker came from Paul Heyman, who refused to acknowledge Sikoa.

This unexpected act led to The Bloodline attacking Paul Heyman. Sikoa was seen screaming at Heyman for the disrespect. Sikoa then ordered Jacob Fatu to deliver a flying headbutt. Later, the faction dragged Heyman near the announcer’s table, where Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa power bombed him through the table.

The segment occurred at Madison Square Garden’s iconic arena, where Paul Heyman delivered a magnificent performance. Adding another layer to the intrigue, AEW commentator Jim Ross recently weighed in on the segment, offering his thoughts on Heyman’s performance.

Jim Ross calls Paul Heyman a special talent

AEW commentator Jim Ross discussed Paul Heyman’s recent performance on “Grilling JR.” He commented on the setup for Roman Reigns to turn babyface. Ross also praised Heyman’s extraordinary performance. Furthermore, he expressed concerns about Heyman’s health due to his size and weight but admired how he handled it.

He stated, “My God, the table is set [for Reigns to turn babyface]. The table is set very nicely. Paul’s performance was extraordinary. You know, he’s just a special talent. I’m concerned about his size, I’m concerned about his weight. I want him to stay healthy and productive and all that good stuff. But yeah, him getting the bump through the table was pretty damn special. And he’s no spring chicken, but he did it; he got it done.”

He continued by saying, “And I thought it worked out really well. His verbal stuff, getting himself show-ready, not shaving. His eyes are bloodshot. He hadn’t slept, he was concerned, he was worried. All these things that go into that whole formula, he pulled off very well. I don’t know if have I seen a performance from someone in his role as significant as we saw there from the Garden. And where else would you want to do it? I mean, I know the Garden is special to Paul… I love the guy.”

Heyman has not been seen since the attack, and fans are speculating that Heyman could make his return when Roman Reigns makes his much-anticipated comeback to confront the new Bloodline.
