WWE Legend Rikishi Drops Major Hint About Roman Reigns’ Next Opponent

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has given his thoughts on former WWE champion Roman Reigns’ next opponent. At WrestleMania, Reigns lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes in a thrilling main event, ending his historic 1,316-day reign. Reigns hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since the shocking defeat.

Roman Reigns, who has been absent from WWE for over two months, has seen a major change in his faction, The Bloodline, during his absence. Solo Sikoa, previously the enforcer of the faction, has taken the lead. Sikoa informed Paul Heyman that Roman Reigns had entrusted him to take charge in his absence.

With Solo Sikoa as the leader of the faction, there were major changes in The Bloodline. Following WWE WrestleMania 40, Sikoa attacked Jimmy Uso, stating that losing has consequences. Jimmy was also attacked by the debuting Tama Tonga. A few weeks later, Sikoa brought Tonga Loa into the faction.

With Roman Reigns away, Solo Sikoa has brought Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa into The Bloodline. As Sikoa is making significant changes to the faction, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi believes these dramatic moves by Sikoa, while Roman Reigns is away, point towards a potential future clash between the two.

Rikishi suggests Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa for WWE SummerSlam 2024

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has predicted a showdown between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam this August. On his podcast, Rikishi, who believes tensions are building towards a clash, has suggested Reigns will confront Sikoa, setting the stage for a major match at the summer event. He stated, “I almost see Roman [Reigns] coming in and Solo [Sikoa] standing his ground, because that could be something with the outstanding performance of Solo holding it down since Roman is out of the picture. He’s been doing a very good job of building his brand and holding that part of The Bloodline. I guess they call it Bloodline 2.0.”

He continued, “I’m always thinking about what the fans would like to see. If fans want to see it, that definitely makes money. We all know Solo was the kind of The Enforcer for Roman, and how good would it be to see that even if it’s just for one match? It could be at SummerSlam or at a big event.”

It’s worth noting that the former WWE champion was supposed to appear on the go-home edition of Smackdown before SummerSlam. However, he has recently been removed from the show, leading to speculation about whether his return will be earlier or later.
