A look back: Erick Redbeard’s last WWE appearance
Erick Redbeard, who signed with WWE in 2011, rose to prominence on the roster as a member of the Wyatt Family under Bray Wyatt’s leadership. He had a remarkable run with the Wyatt Family and later formed a tag team called The Bludgeon Brothers with Luke Harper, also known as Jon Huber.
In 2019, Eric Redbeard transitioned into a singles career after an alliance with Daniel Bryan. He eventually attacked Bryan to kickstart his singles journey. During this period, he was involved in a feud with Roman Reigns. He even defeated Reigns at Clash of Champions in 2019.
However, following his feud with Reigns, Redbeard’s trajectory in WWE became uncertain. His final appearance was on an episode of WWE RAW in March 2020 against Drew McIntyre. Unfortunately, he was released from the promotion in April 2020 as part of the company’s budget cuts in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
While he was released from WWE, he did make an appearance last year. In August 2023, during Bray Wyatt’s tribute show on SmackDown, Eric Redbeard was seen with Braun Strowman.
