The trailer for You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment previews the Netflix documentary from the team behind The Game Changers, a 2018 documentary film that centered on athletes who follow plant-based diets.
The upcoming Netflix docuseries once again focuses on the subject of plant-based diets, looking at identical twins as they change their diets and lifestyles for eight weeks in what’s described as a unique scientific experiment designed to explore how certain foods impact the body. In particular, the determination will be between those whose diets include meat and dairy and others who are solely plant-based.

You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment premieres January 1.
The Game Changers, directed by Louie Psihoyos, told the story of UFC star and elite Special Forces trainer James Wilks. In the documentary, Wilks traveled the world to find the truth about whether meat is necessary for protein, strength, and health. It also features Arnold Schwarzenegger, U.S. Olympian Kendrick James Farris, and surfer Tia Blanco.
Titanic and Avatar director James Cameron executive produced Game Changers alongside Suzy Amis Cameron with Mark Monroe and Joseph Pace on board as writers. Wilks and Joseph Pace produced. The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and has been credited with changing attitudes regarding plant-based diets.
