Crunchyroll announced on Thursday that the Demon Slayer special spin-off television series Junior High and High School!! Kimetsu Academy Story is now available to stream in its entirety on Crunchyroll.
Unlike the typical heavy themes and action of the original series, Junior High and High School!! Kimetsu Academy Story takes the characters of Demon Slayer and places them into an alternate universe — one where they all go to school together.
The seven shorts all range from 1-3 minutes in length and are generally just light comedic takes on some of the show’s most popular characters as they try and learn how to slay demons in school, interact with one another, or simply joke around in class. All seven shorts are now available in both Japanese or English languages.
Elsewhere on the Demon Slayer front, it was announced that the third season of the series would premiere in a theatrical experience for fans, with showings taking place on March 3.
The theatrical event will include a feature-length cut of episodes 10 and 11 from Season 2’s adaptation of the Entertainment District Arc, as well as the premiere of the third season, which will be an extended length and run for an hour in 4K with remastered audio. Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster’s website.
