The new trailer picks up almost right from where the second season of the series ends, with the members of The Umbrella Academy finding themselves in an alternate universe and inside The Sparrow Academy. From there, the trailer sums up the problems of Season 3, mainly that a time paradox is causing the universe to collapse, and it’s up to the group to save the day once again.

“In Season 3, after putting a stop to 1963’s doomsday, the Umbrella Academy return home to the present, convinced they prevented the initial apocalypse and fixed this godforsaken timeline once and for all. But after a brief moment of celebration, they realize things aren’t exactly (okay, not at all) how they left them,” says the synopsis.

The Umbrella Academy stars Elliot Page as Viktor/Number Seven, Tom Hopper as Luther/Number One, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison/Number Three, Robert Sheehan as Klaus/Number Four, David Castañeda as Diego/Number Two, Aidan Gallagher as Number Five, and Justine H. Min as Ben/Number Six.
