A Peacock release date for Based on a True Story Season 2 has been revealed.
Based on a True Story is a Peacock thriller series that stars Kaley Cuoco, Chris Messina, and more. The first season premiered in June 2023, with the series then being renewed for a second season in October.

When will Based on a True Story Season 2 be released on Peacock?
All eight episodes of Based on a True Story Season 2 will be released on Peacock on November 21, 2024.
“Season two finds new parents Ava and Nathan Bartlett three months into parenthood. Focused on taking care of her family, Ava is determined to resist her true crime obsession and return to work as a real estate agent while Nathan trains private tennis clients,” the synopsis reads. “But a series of new murders pulls her back in – is Matt behind the slayings? Is Tory, now entangled in a relationship with Matt, in danger? For a while, life is good — Ava’s TikTok habit and her new friend Drew provide a welcome distraction, and Nathan’s all in on reigniting his tennis career as well as his friendship with Matt — until danger comes knocking, literally.”
Annie Weisman serves as showrunner, executive producer, and writer on the series. Jaclyn Moore also serves as an executive producer and writer, while Alex Buono, Jason Bateman, Michael Costigan, Craig Rosenberg, Couco, and Messina additionally serve as executive producers. Buono directed several episodes of the new season.
Along with Cuoco and Messina, the series stars Tom Bateman, Liana Liberato, and Melissa Fumero.
