Sony Pictures has dropped a new Anyone But You video for the upcoming romantic comedy, which will arrive in theaters this Friday, December 22.
The video features lead stars Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell discussing their characters’ complicated relationship with each other following a failed date years ago. They tease how their characters’ fake dating scheme would eventually end in disaster, as they learn that pretending to date someone you hate proves to be harder than expected.

Who’s involved in Anyone But You?
Anyone But You is directed by Will Gluck from a screenplay he co-wrote with Ilana Wolpert. The filmmaker is best known for his directorial work on romantic comedies Easy A and Friends with Benefits, as well as Peter Rabbit movies. Joining Sweeney and Powell are Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Dermot Mulroney, Rachel Griffiths, Michelle Hurd, Bryan Brown, Darren Barnet and Hadley Robinson.
“In the film, Bea and Ben look like the perfect couple, but after an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold – until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia,” reads the synopsis. “So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple.”
The project is executive produced by Sweeney, Natalie Sellers, Alyssa Altman, and Jacqueline Monetta, with Gluck, Joe Roth, and Jeff Kirschenbaum as producers.
