What to expect in Always, Lola?
“The film introduces Lola, who is Clifton High School’s wildest senior. She’s fun, loyal, reckless (maybe a little too reckless), and always one to throw a party,” reads the synopsis. “Lola is infamous for her annual birthday camping trip, where she sets up a scavenger hunt with items for each of her five best friends to discover. But this summer is different. When Lola’s life is cut short by a tragic overdose, the group is left to grapple with her painful loss, questioning whether they should return to their hallowed campsite without her. Their answer comes when they discover that Lola had set up her annual scavenger hunt just weeks before her untimely death. Their final gifts are waiting in the woods…along with a shocking secret that threatens to tear them all apart.”
Always, Lola is written and directed by Jeffrey Cane Graham in his feature directorial debut. The film stars Corrinne Mica, Roxy Striar, Andrew Ghai, Candice Cruz, Sheldon White, and Collin Campana. It is produced by Ian Keiser and Kevin Undergaro, with Laura Palmer serving as an executive producer. AJ Young is also part of the creative time as the cinematographer.
