RLJE Films has released the official trailer for Christmas Bloody Christmas, its upcoming slasher horror film centering around a defective Santa Claus robot who goes on a killing rampage. The film is scheduled to make its debut in theaters and on Shudder on December 9.

“It’s Christmas Eve and fiery record store owner Tori Tooms just wants to get drunk and party until the robotic Santa Claus at a nearby toy store goes haywire and makes her night more than a little complicated,” reads the synopsis. “Santa Claus begins a rampant killing spree through the neon-drenched snowscape against a backdrop of drugs, sex, metal, and violence, ultimately forcing Tori into a blood-splattered battle for survival against the ruthless heavy metal Saint Nick himself.”

Christmas Bloody Christmas is written and directed by Joe Begos. The film will star Riley Dandy as Tori, Sam Delich as Robbie, Jonah Ray Rodrigues as Jay, Dora Madison, Jeremy Gardner as Officer Smith, with Jeff Daniel Phillips as Sheriff Monroe, and Abraham Benrubi as Santa.
