Universal Pictures has dropped a brand new Jurassic World Dominion featurette for the long-awaited third installment of the blockbuster dinosaur franchise, providing some new action-packed footage. It is scheduled to hit the theaters on Friday, June 10.
The video, which you can check out below along with the new poster, features a commentary by the director Colin Trevorrow and the main cast including Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Chris Pratt, and Bryce Dallas Howard as they talked about Jurassic Park‘s legacy and impact. It also teases the culmination and conclusion of the story and how the storylines of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World characters will intersect with one another.

Jurassic World Dominion will be led by Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, and BD Wong. It will also see the highly-anticipated return of original Jurassic Park stars Laura Dern, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Campbell Scott.
“This summer, experience the epic conclusion to the Jurassic era as two generations unite for the first time. Jurassic World Dominion is a bold, timely, and breathtaking new adventure that spans the globe,” says the official synopsis. “The film takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.”
The third installment will also be introducing new characters, portrayed by Mamoudou Athie, DeWanda Wise, Dichen Lachman, Scott Haze, and Isabella Sermon.

The film is once again directed by Colin Trevorrow from a screenplay he co-wrote with Emily Carmichael, based on a story by the first two Jurassic World films’ scribes Derek Conolly and Trevorrow. Executive producers are Trevorrow, Steven Spielberg, and Alexandra Derbyshire
