Milla Jovovich proves, once again, to be a wellspring of information, via her Twitter account, when it comes to Resident Evil: Retribution.
The fifth film is presently shooting in Toronto, Canada under the direction of Jovovich’s husband, and franchise stalwart, Paul W.S. Anderson. So far, in addition to Jovovich, we know Sienna Guillory and Colin Salmon are returning.
Today, the actress offered her Twitterfollowers some plot nuggets. She said, and we’ll clean up the writing here, “Chris, Claire and K-mart have been captured by Umbrella,” she also added, “We will have the Las Plagas parasite!” referring to the creature featured in the video games.
She also did a bit of rumor control, emphasizing that Jensen Ackles has not been cast in the film as Leon Kennedy. Jovovich did, however, confirm that Leon, Ada Wong and Barry are characters we will see pop up on the film.
Resident Evil: Retribution is coming to theaters on September 14, 2012.
