Erin Carufel has joined the cast of Gone, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter.
The film, scheduled to begin production next month, features Amanda Seyfried in the lead role of Kill Parrish, a young woman who returns home from the night shift to find her sister’s bed empty. She’s convinced that the serial killer who kidnapped her two years before has come back to finish the job, but the police will not believe her and Jill knows time is running out. With no one to turn to, Jill sets off to find her sister and face her abductor once and for all.
Carufel’s role is currently unspecified. The actress recently appeared in The Lincoln Lawyer and has also had roles in Untraceable and Elena Undone.
Other previously-announced cast members include Emily Wickersham, Wes Bentley and Jennifer Carpenter with Heitor Dhalia directing from a script by Allison Burnett.
Lakeshore Entertainment’s Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi are producing alongside Sidney Kimmel, Chris Salvaterra and Dan Abrams.
