This Friday, Amanda Seyfried takes center stage in Summit Entertainment’s new suspense thriller, Gone. She stars as Jill Parish, a young woman tormented by a kidnapping one year earlier that she barely escaped and that authorities suspect could have just been in her head. When her sister, Molly, goes missing, she realizes that the same individual must be responsible, but finds no one willing to listen. Jill becomes determined to solve the mystery on her own, racing against time, the police and a deadly stranger to open old wounds and find Molly before it’s too late.
ComingSoon.net sat down with Seyfried to talk about the film, its stylized approach to violence and its twist on the hard-boiled detective.
