In addition to Sir Ben Kingsley and Sacha Baron Cohen, Martin Scorsese has also cast Asa Butterfield (The Boy in the Striped Pajamas) and Chloe Moretz (Kick-Ass, Let Me In) in The Invention of Hugo Cabret.
The film, based on Brian Selznick’s magic-themed children’s novel, centers on an orphaned boy (Butterfield) who secretly lives in the walls of a busy Paris train station and looks after the clocks. He gets caught up in a mystery adventure when he attempts to repair a mechanical man.
Moretz will play the female lead role of Isabelle.
