Lindsay Lohan might be taking the mantle as the next holiday queen. After starring as Sierra Belmont in Netflix’s romantic comedy Falling for Christmas, the Mean Girls star — along with Schmigadoon! actress Kristin Chenoweth — are set to appear in the streamer’s newest holiday film titled Our Little Secret.
Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure filmmaker Stephen Herek will be directing the project for Netflix, which will see Lohan in another Netflix flick after Falling for Christmas (which also starred Glee’s Chord Overstreet) graced the streamer in November 2022. This is also on top of Lohan’s forthcoming rom-com feature, Irish Wish, set to arrive on the streaming platform sometime in 2024.
Lohan has been keeping herself busy these past years, delving into projects after another. Besides Falling for Christmas and the upcoming Irish Wish, the actress can be seen in Sick Note, Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club, and Among the Shadows, among others. She also had a cameo appearance in the film musical adaptation of Mean Girls.
Who else will star in Our Little Secret?
According to Deadline, the stars joining Lohan and Chenoweth in the said holiday movie are Ian Harding (Pretty Little Liars), Jon Rudnitsky (Home Again), Chris Parnell (Senior Year), Tim Meadows (Mean Girls), Dan Bucatinsky (Web Therapy), Henry Czerny (Ready or Not), Katie Baker (The Mosquito Coast), Ash Santos (Mayor of Kingstown), Jake Brennan (Palmer), and Brian Unger (Yellowstone).
The film, which is now in production, follows two exes who happen to also hate each other. However, the two of them are forced to spend Christmas together after finding out that their new partners are blood-related. It is written by Hailey DeDominicis, with Mike Elliott and Lisa Gooding serving as producers. Joseph P. Genier, on the other hand, serves as the film’s executive producer.
