We have a new update on Uncharted 2.
The 2022 action-adventure movie Uncharted starred Tom Holland as Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg as Sully. The film was based on the famous video game franchise of the same name. Although the movie wasn’t too successful with critics, it was a hit at the box office, earning over $400 million worldwide and becoming the sixth highest grossing video game movie of all time.
Producer Charles Roven, who produced the 2022 movie as well as films like Oppenheimer, The Dark Knight, and American Hustle, recently shared an update on a sequel to the film. “We had a really good time with [the first Uncharted movie],” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “The fans really liked the movie, and people who didn’t know anything about the game really liked the movie. So we are definitely looking to make another one of those.”
Will there be Uncharted 2?
Although no official plans have been confirmed, it is likely. After the success of the first movie, Sony Pictures chairman Tom Rothman declared it was a new hit movie franchise.
