The trailer for the second act of Netflix’s documentary on Kanye West is out, teasing the next chapter in the artist’s rise to superstardom.

Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy | Act 2 will pick up where the first act left off, and continue Kanye’s journey in the music industry after the artist signs with Roc-A-Fella records. Throughout the trailer, more footage of Kanye in a recording booth is shown, before things close with him and his late mother, Donda West, walking through the streets as she exclaims how proud she is of West.

The second act of Jeen-Yuhs will premiere on Netflix on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, with the final act premiering a week later.

Jeen-Yuhs spans over twenty years and features never-before-seen footage of the musician and fashion icon. The multi-part docuseries is helmed by Clarence Simmons and Chike Ozah, who directed the third music video for “Jesus Walks” and “Through the Wire.” They previously did the ESPN 30 for 30 documentary Benji and A Kid From Coney Island that chronicles Stephon Marbury.
