Netflix’s popular reality show Physical: 100 is coming back with its second season, titled Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground. Now, the streaming platform has released a brand-new teaser unveiling the list of contestants for the very first group – The Warriors. The list includes both new cast members as well as one alumni of the previous season. The reality show is all set to premiere on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, streaming exclusively on Netflix.
Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground, like its first season, will feature a total of 100 contestants of diverse backgrounds, deemed physically and mentally fit to endure tough challenges in the competition. They will compete against each other in a variety of gruesome and physically challenging tasks to test their strength and abilities. The winner will get a massive cash prize and the credit of possessing the “ideal physique.”
Physical 100 Season 2 – Underground releases its first group of contestants
On Thursday, February 22, 2024, Netflix released the names of its first group of contestants, called The Warriors. These include UFC fighter Kim Dong-Hyun, MMA fighter Sim Yu-Ri, and Korea Coast Guard Officer Kang Cheong-Myeong as new contestants. Meanwhile, Group 1 will also feature Season 1 contestant, former firefighter Hong Beom-Seok.
Kim Dong-Hyun is one of the most anticipated contestants to appear in the second season of Physical: 100. As per Netflix’s previous report, he is the first Korean UFC fighter with the highest number of wins within Korea. Meanwhile, the streaming platform also revealed a few other contestants, including Lee Won-Hee, a gold medalist in judo, and Anthony Jung, a wrestling gold medalist. The list will also include military personnel, actors, singers, police officers, and FBI diplomats, per the report.
The stakes will be higher for the contestants in Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground. This time around, they will have to participate in tougher challenges as compared to the previous installment. Furthermore, the competition will also take place against the backdrop of a giant underground mine, testing the contestants’ limits.
