Gyeongseong Creature trailer: Park Seo-Joon & Han So-Hee battle a monster apocalypse
The new Gyeongseong Creature trailer begins by capturing Jang Tae-Sang and Yoon Chae-Ok’s lives. The former is Gyeongseong’s most wealthy man and the owner of a pawn shop. While Chae-Ok is a private detective on the lookout for her mother. Tae-Sang leads a wealthy lifestyle and is also the most well-informed man. From the trailer, it looks like Chae-Ok will reach out to Tae Sang, who also goes by the name Master Jang.
It seems highly possible that Chae-Ok will seek Tae-Sang’s help to find her mother. Their search will lead them to find out what’s inside the basement of the Ongseong Hospital. While the duo collaborate for their own reasons, they will soon discover hidden secrets within the hospital. It is also revealed that patients who enter the hospital can never leave.
Eventually, Tae-Sang and Chae-Ok reach the hospital to uncover secrets. The story is set in 1945 Korea when the country was still under Japanese colonial rule. Throughout the trailer, Japanese influences are visible in costumes, settings, and more. Once they reach the hospital, they are exposed to unimaginable secrets in the form of mysterious monsters.
From then on, it’s a bloody battle for survival as Tae-Sang and Chae-Ok help each other out in eliminating monstrous humans and creatures. While Chae-Ok vows to not let any more innocent people die, Tae-Sang is conflicted between helping others and taking care of his own urgent matters. From gunshots, wounds, battles, and more, the two try to survive while also uncovering many dark secrets in the hospital.
The trailer for Gyeongseong Creature ends with Chae-Ok and Tae-Sang in an embrace, promising each other to stay alive.
