The trailer for Stree 2 begins with Rudra (Pankaj Tripathi) narrating a passage from the Chanderi Purana, which foretells the arrival of the “Sar Kata Bhoot” after Stree departs. It is soon revealed that this ghost is responsible for transforming an ordinary woman into Stree (the spirit). In the upcoming sequel, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajkummar Rao, and Shraddha Kapoor will reprise their roles.
In the first installment, Stree kidnaps men from the Chanderi village. However, the “Sar Kata Bhoot” targets the women of Chanderi in the new installment. The core concept remains the same, but the gender of the victims has shifted. Once again, Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) will have the power to save the village. Additionally, Shraddha Kapoor’s character is further developed, with Stree’s braid attached to her own hair. The trailer also shares a glimpse of a dance number featuring Tamannaah Bhatia.
At the end of the trailer, a statue of Stree is shown, hinting at her potential return to seek revenge on the Sar Kata Bhoot. The previously released teaser also suggests that the villagers of Chanderi urge Stree to protect them from other malevolent spirits.
