Turbo movie day 2 box office collection explored

Turbo has made a significant impact at the box office with its opening day amounting to $734,000 across all languages. Additionally, early estimates from Sacnilk reveal that the film’s second-day net collection in India stands at around $202,000. This brings its total net collection in India to approximately $936,000 to date.

With such a strong opening, Turbo has become the highest-grossing film of the year at the Malayalam box office. It even surpassed the opening collection of Aadujeevitham, which was around $704,000.

While talking about the challenges faced during filming, Raj B. Shetty mentioned, “I play a Tamilian named Vetrivel Shanmugha Sundaram and I was originally given lines or dialogues in Tamil. Since I don’t speak Tamil, I had to put in a lot of effort to learn the lines and show up. Then the director decided that it’d be better if my character spoke Malayalam instead and I was given new dialogues about a page long! That scene has Mammootty sir’s character simply staring at me, without saying a word, and I am doing all the talking (laughs)!.”

As Turbo continues its box office run, it remains to be seen how much the movie will earn by the end of its first week.
