Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda is celebrating his 35th birthday on a good note. After facing failure at the box office with his last outing, The Family Star, the actor is back in action with yet another venture. On the occasion of his special day, his next with producer Dil Raju was announced. The makers recently dropped a movie poster along with the tentative title SVC59.
Producer Dil Raju also backed Vijay Deverakonda’s previous film, The Family Star. While the movie did not perform well in theaters, it performed decently on the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform. It seems that the actor-producer duo are confident about their second collaboration.
Vijay Deverakonda’s next announced on his birthday
On Vijay Deverakonda’s birthday, the first poster of SVC59 has been unveiled. In the red-hued poster, the actor’s character can be seen holding a machete in the rain. The backdrop of fire hints at massive action in the upcoming film. Along with the poster, the Liger actor wrote, “‘The blood on my hands is not of their death.. but of my own rebirth..’ Ravi Kiran Kola X Vijay Deverakonda.”
While Ravi Kiran Kola is directing the movie, Dil Raju and Sirish are bankrolling it under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Fans are very excited about Deverakonda’s new film. Reacting to the poster, a fan wrote, “Action Hero VD is back,” while another penned, “Madly waiting.” An X (formerly Twitter) user also wrote, “rowdy range poster.”
On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda has a few projects in the pipeline. Besides SVC59, the actor also has VD12 with director Gowtam Tinnanuri. His other project, VD14, is helmed by Rahul Sankrityan. However, it is touted to be a historical film. More details about the movie are awaited.
