Malayalam star Mohanlal is known for starring in the most unique and entertaining movies. His last film, Malaikottai Vaaliban, was called a visual spectacular despite the mixed reviews. Over more than four decades, the actor has entertained his fans thoroughly. Finally, he has kickstarted the shoot of his 360th project, tentatively titled L360.
The actor has teamed up with filmmaker Tharun Moorthy for the upcoming project. What makes the project more special is Mohanlal’s reunion with dancer and actress Shobana. The two actors worked together on 55 movies but it has been 19 years since they shared the screen.
Mohanlal shares set pictures from L360
Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Mohanlal shared a few pictures from the L360 sets. In the photos, the Malayalam star could be seen shaking hands with the leading lady, Shobana. The rest of the pictures saw crew members praying while one of them held a placard. Sharing the photos, the actor wrote, “On the set, joining in prayers as we commence filming the project led by director Tharun Moorthy and produced by M. Renjith under Rejaputhra Visual Media. I express my deepest gratitude and seek your blessings as I embark on my 360th film venture.”
Mohanlal’s fans wished the actor and the movie’s team the best. Many also mentioned how they are eagerly waiting to catch the film. As per reports, the movie’s shoot schedule will go on for two months. Touted to be a family drama, the movie’s release date window has yet to be announced.
On the work front, Mohanlal will be next seen in Barroz. Apart from playing the titular role in the movie, he is also serving as its director. He also has a crucial role in Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa. Rambaan is another Malayalam movie in the actor’s kitty.
