As the film entered day 4 of screening, it faced a major setback, recording a significant dip in its collections. Yodha collection day 4: Sidharth Malhotra’s movie records 70% dip
According to early estimates provided by industry tracker Sacnilk, Yodha witnessed a sharp decline in its box office earnings on Monday. Sidharth Malhotra’s latest movie only garnered a mere $259K. This stark downturn comes after a relatively promising opening weekend. The movie accumulated $843K on Sunday and over $602K on Saturday. Overall, the collections brought the total earnings to $2.2 million.
The lackluster performance of Yodha at the box office can be attributed to a combination of factors, including mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. Despite high expectations, the film also struggled to make a mark on its opening day, with collections of just $494K. Regarding box office collections, Sidharth Malhotra starrer fell short of recent releases, such as Shaitaan and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.
Adding to the woes, Yodha is locked in a fierce battle with Shaitaan, which continues dominating the box office. Despite being in its second week of release, Shaitaan outperformed Yodha on Monday, earning $361K.
Beyond the box office numbers, Yodha faces challenges attracting footfalls across key markets. With an overall occupancy rate of just 10.36 percent on its fourth day, the film’s performance in major cities like Mumbai and Delhi NCR remains lackluster.
Despite its commercial challenges, Yodha boasts an ensemble cast, including Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani. Additionally, the film marks the directorial debut of Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha.
