Celebrated filmmaker SS Rajamouli is highly disturbed by the natural calamities Japan is facing. The East Asian country was recently hit by a series of earthquakes, the highest being 7.5 magnitude. As per the latest reports, about 48 people lost their lives, and the Japanese government even issued a tsunami warning in different parts of the country. Amid the stressful situation, Rajamouli recently penned how his thoughts are with everyone affected by the disaster.
The new year did not begin on a good note for Japan as the country faced one of its most horrific earthquakes of recent times. As a result, many are left injured, while buildings and vehicles are destroyed. Moreover, roads have split open and swallowed vehicles parked on them. SS Rajamouli reacted to the situation and penned a heartwarming note.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter), SS Rajamouli penned that he is disturbed by seeing the condition of earthquake-hit Japan. He wrote, “It’s very disturbing to learn about the earthquakes affecting Japan severely. The country holds a special place in our hearts. My thoughts are with everyone affected.”
Rajamouli has always talked fondly about Japan because of his love for the country. The filmmaker released his latest flick, RRR, in Japan, and his team thoroughly promoted the movie there. Meanwhile, RRR star Jr NTR was in Japan. He recently returned home because of the climatic conditions of the country. He took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Back home today from Japan and deeply shocked by the earthquakes hitting. Spent the entire last week there, and my heart goes out to everyone affected. Grateful for the resilience of the people and hoping for a swift recovery. Stay strong, Japan.”
