Starting this weekend, Ruggero Deodato’s notorious horror film will be available in select Landmark Theatres. A complete theater listing is below.
The film tells the story of four documentary filmmakers who experience brutal death at the hands of a savage South American tribe of flesh-eaters. The film is so intense, so graphic and so unflinching in its realism that the director and producer of Cannibal Holocaust were arrested on its original release and the film was seized.
The film stars Robert Kerman, Francesca Ciardi and Carl Gabriel Yorke. Moviegoers are warned: This is the original, uncut version of Cannibal Holocaust. You’ve been warned!
