Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is finally rushing to theaters this weekend. Considering the Steven Caple Jr.-directed film is the seventh installment in the Transformers live-action movie series, is any character departing from the franchise? Here are all of the Transformers 7 deaths explained.
Who dies in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts?
Airazor dies in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
The peregrine-falcon robot voiced by Michelle Yeoh dies during the clash between humans, Autobots, Maximals, and Terrorcons. In the story, Airazor is corrupted by some dark energy launched by Scourge which eventually drives her mad. The Maximal puts on a strenuous battle against the dark energy but succumbs to it and becomes one of Unicron’s servants. To stop Airazor from killing Elena (Dominique Fishback), Optimus Primal, the leader of the Maximals, neutralizes the winged Maximal.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts also features some more plot twists.
Does Bumblebee die in Transformers 7?
Bumblebee is killed by Scourge but returns before the end of Rise of the Beasts.
The charismatic Autobot stays on the sidelines for most of the story after Scourge quickly dispatches him in their first encounter. Bumblebee’s body is then refueled thanks to the energon activated by the Transwarp Key. Considering Bumblebee is part of the events in Michael Bay‘s Transformers films — which occur after Rise of the Beasts –, Bumblebee’s return was quite predictable.
Does Mirage die in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts?
Mirage is alive at the end of Transformers 7.
During the clash with Scourge, Mirage is severely wounded and turns into a sort of Iron Man-like suit that Noah (Anthony Ramos) wears to defeat the villain. The movie ends with the Autobot’s fate upended, as it isn’t clear what happened to him after the battle. It’s only after the mid-credit scene that fans discover he’s still alive and well.
