A really big mystery project
How’s this for a tease? The Orphanage‘s director Juan Antonio Bayona and writer Sergio G. Sánchez are coming together for a new film. It will shoot in early 2010. It will be produced by Apaches Entertainment, Telecinco Cinema and Spongeman.
What’s it about? Not a clue. We’ll take a shot in the dark and say it’s Shock-worthy right now.
According to an Apaches rep, the film is a “powerful story, based on true facts, which poses large technical challenges.” Sanchez finished a first draft of the script last month which rules out his project The Homecoming.
Bayona is attached to an adaptation of the novel Hater for Universal Pictures. We’ll fill you in on the details of this mystery film as we learn more!
