A Dark Castle production
A film that nearly slipped off of our radar, The Orphan (formerly just “Orphan”), has a release date.
Distributor Warner Bros. penciled in a November 6, 2009 debut.
Producer under Joel Silver’s Dark Castle banner, the film finds Peter Sarsgaard and Vera Farmiga playing a grieving couple bugging out over their adopted child (Isabelle Fuhrman) who is anything but innocent. House of Wax‘s Jaume Collet-Serra returned to the Dark Castle fold to direct.
