Twisted new thriller from BAC Films
BAC Films leapt out of the AFM gate swinging this week. Their sci-fi thriller Eden Log was snatched up immediately by Magnet Releasing, news that prompted us to swing by their hotel suite and see what else was lurking on their roster.
One prospective piece of deviant cinema that caught our eye, due largely to the key art you see below, was director Alfred Lot’s Melody’s Smile, a multi-tiered tale offering child murders, hard-boiled cop drama and a few other twists ‘n turns. Read the full plot synopsis here.
This is Lot’s feature debut as a full-on director. Until now he was dabbling in production manager duties (The Transporter) and assistant directing (Kiss of the Dragon).
