People looking forward to the Borderlands movie wish to know whether the infamous ‘Handsome Jack’ will also appear in the film. If yes, then who plays the character? Here’s all you need to know.
Is Handsome Jack in the Borderlands movie?
Handsome Jack isn’t confirmed to be in 2024’s Borderlands movie. However, he could show up towards the end to set up a sequel.
Handsome Jack is the big bad villain in Borderlands 2 video game, and also plays a crucial role in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. In the game universe, he becomes the dictator of Pandora, where the first movie largely takes place. He acquires the Hyperion corporation, claims to have killed The Destroyer, and takes all the credit for locating “The Vault”.
His appearance isn’t confirmed for 2024’s Borderlands movie. But since Borderlands 2 uses him as the main antagonist, we could see him brought into the mix in a potential sequel. To set that up, he could have a cameo towards the end of the first film, or be subtly mentioned somewhere across the story. But nothing has been reported about that yet.
While Dameon Clarke voices him in the two games, Handsome Jack’s casting isn’t confirmed for the film. It’s possible that he hasn’t been cast yet, and the creatives will get to that when the franchise grows beyond the first film.

The mission: find and protect the missing (and important) daughter of a powerful man named Atlas. But things may not be as they seem, as the girl holds the key to great power that can change the fate of the universe.”
