After watching Queer Eye Season 8, fans who wish for themselves or their close companions to get a visit from the fab-five want to know how they could sign up to be featured in the Netflix reality series. Is it possible for anyone to appear? Here’s everything you need to know.
How to sign up for Queer Eye
People can sign up for Queer Eye by submitting their videos and other details on Netflix’s dedicated online portal for submissions. There’s also a way to nominate your friends via e-mail.
To sign up for the next season of Queer Eye, you can visit its page on “Netflixreality.com” and click on “Submit Your Video”. As soon as you do that, a new window will ask for your name, pronouns, e-mail, country, and city.
By clicking on “Next”, you’d get the option to add links to your social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and others. Then the last step would be to upload a video that needs to be one minute or less, shot in portrait mode, and up to 250 MB in size.
As per an Instagram post from Bobby Berk, another way to get people onto the show is to send the information, stories, and videos of yourself or your friends, siblings, parents, and associates via email to “qecasting@itv.com”.
You’d get a reply from the Queer Eye team via email if your video and story get selected.
Can anyone sign up for Queer Eye?
Anyone can sign up for Queer Eye as long as they are 18 years or older and a resident of the US, Canada, UK, or Ireland.
People residing outside of the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland will not be eligible for the series yet. The casting directors also don’t consider videos of people who are below 18 years of age.
So, anyone who meets the aforementioned criteria could feature in the next season of Queer Eye as long as they have a gripping story that would benefit from “more than a makeover” from the Fab 5, including Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, and Bobby Berk.
