Krysten Ritter’s return as Jessica Jones in Daredevil: Born Again has not been officially confirmed as of publishing. However, the actress seems to have teased it in a recent Instagram story.
On January 30, 2024, Ritter took to Instagram to share a story of herself hanging around wearing a shirt that was worn by Jessica Jones at certain points in the character’s Netflix series. She also put up a caption “IYKYK” (If you know, you know). This seemed to suggest that she was hinting at her return as the hardboiled PI in the MCU.
Fans immediately took to the internet to share their reactions, theorizing that Ritter was reprising her role in Daredevil: Born Again. This is not surprising as Ritter’s seemingly cryptic post happened right as Daredevil: Born Again resumed filming.
However, it is also possible that Krysten Ritter may have been referring to another project she was involved as recent rumors about her being part of Sonic the Hedgehog 3’s cast have also popped up on the internet.
Despite no confirmation coming from Ritter or Marvel, it is still very likely that Ritter could reprise her role as Jessica Jones in the MCU moving forward as the Netflix shows have now been canonized.
