With Only Murders in the Building season 3 ongoing at Hulu, fans are already looking for theories about the person responsible for Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd)’s death. Up to episode 3, some clues point to Kimber as the main suspect, but is she really the killer? And what if it’s someone else? Here’s what you need to know.
Is Kimber really the killer in OMITB season 3?
Kimber is unlikely to be the killer in Only Murders in the Building season 3.
With only three episodes in the books, it’s hard to say who’s the real culprit. However, if thousands and thousands of whodunnit books, TV series, and movies taught us something, it’s that the first person who appears to be the killer is hardly the real one. That’s the case for the character portrayed by Ashley Park. The series is currently hinting she might be behind Ben’s murderer, but it’s likely just a decoy to lure the fans. As Charles (Steve Martin) himself said in a meta-narrative comment from the latest season, having another female killer is “done” (referring to the fact that the murderer was a woman both in season 1 and season 2).
Who is the killer in Only Murders in the Building season 3?
We still don’t know who’s the killer in Only Murders in the Building season 3.
In the early stages of the third run, writers are still playing with viewers. Anyone could be behind Ben’s murder, considering that more than one person had a reason to want the pompous star dead. Our guess is that Charles, Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) should look for someone very close to Ben, like a relative.
Fans must patiently wait for the Only Murders in the Building season 3 finale until October 3 to find out who’s the real culprit and check whether their theories were correct. New episodes premiere every Tuesday.
