A new South Park video game was quietly announced last year via a report that described it as “a 3D video game that is set in the world of South Park.” While that description was as vague as can be and offered up little in terms of details, we now know the developer that South Park Studios will be collaborating on for its latest video game adaptation.

As a job listing for a lead level designer on its website reveals, the developer for the project is Question. South Park will be the biggest game yet for the studio, which is made up “of ex-AAA developers whose past team credits include: Thief: Deadly Shadows, BioShock, BioShock 2, BioShock Infinite, Dishonored, South Park: The Stick of Truth, and South Park: Fractured But Whole.” Seeing how the studio has members that worked on the past two previous South Park role-playing games, it’s clear why South Park Studios decided to partner up with Question.
The job listing and its requirements do give a few hints as to what to expect from the upcoming South Park project. It asks for applicants to have shipped at least one “one multiplayer game as a senior level designer or have equivalent relevant experience,” so the next South Park game could have a multiplayer component. It also notes that the studio runs on Unreal 4, so the next game will likely run on Unreal Engine as well.
