The game will support four to 10 players and have a similar loop to the non-VR version as players complete tasks and root out suspicious team mates. Schell Games is developing the port and has created a ton of other VR games like I Expect You To Die and Until You Fall, the latter of which was just recently (and is still currently) part of PlayStation Plus’ lineup of games. Schell CEO spoke about the port and the partnership with Innersloth.
“We’re excited to take all the features players worldwide have enjoyed from Among Us and tailor them to a fully immersive experience in virtual reality,” he said. “There’s a lot to love about Among Us and this partnership presents a perfect pairing of the runaway success of the original game and the upward trajectory of the virtual reality ecosystem.”
