Kagurabachi chapter 36 recap
The chapter starts with a flashback to Shiba explaining the various stages of being a sorcerer to Hakuri. He explains that the wielder must first summon spirit energy and circulate it throughout their body before they can unleash it as sorcery. He tells him the kind of sorcery one can use at birth is predetermined.
Shiba tells Hakuri that since he is from the Sazanami clan, his innate power is Issou. In the present, Soya notices the weapons around Hakuri, which are weapons he once used to torture him. Meanwhile, Hibaru senses that he has another power and tries to channel more energy into his body. Soya sees the weapons and remembers Kyora Sazanmi’s words about how he would be the one to inherit the storehouse.
However, he would lose the ability to use Issou. Kyora tells him about the first patriarch and how he used Issou and the storehouse. Soya gets angry that his brother could be a genius like the first patriarch. He asks him to stay down and stop moving, but Hakuri refuses to give up. Meanwhile, Hakuri recalls his conversation with the mystery girl and releases his energy. He unleashes his power and attacks Soya with his strongest Issou to attack Soya.
Elsewhere, the chapter shows the heated battle between Chihiro and Tenri. Chihiro finishes him off by unleashing the final Mei of his cloud granger, defeating Tenri with the attack. The chapter ends with Hakuri meeting with Chihiro as they prepare to head through the door.
