A brand-new trailer for Date A Live season 5 was recently released on Kadokawa’s YouTube channel. Fans received the confirmation of a fifth season during the franchise’s 10th-anniversary event. Supposedly, season 5 is the second-to-last installment, and the anticipation is quite high.

Date A Live follows the story of Shido Itsuka, who is a high school boy. After the Spacequake destroys his town, he is introduced to a girl in armor. The responsibility for the world’s well-being lies on his shoulders as his sister-in-law, Kotori, forces him to date this girl to make her fall in love with Shido.
