10 new English-dubbed episodes of the ongoing anime Case Closed (otherwise known as Detective Conan) have arrived on the streaming Tubi, according to an announcement from TMS Entertainment USA.
The latest batch of episodes includes English-dubbed versions of episodes 965-974. These are the first episodes dubbed in English since Funimation’s original dubbing efforts, which stopped at episode 123 (which was episode 130 in the dub as it split several specials into two episodes). It uses the same voice cast that TMS has used for recent Case Closed movies, which includes dubbed versions of Zero the Enforcer,The Crimson Love Letter, The Darkest Nightmare, Sunflowers of Inferno, The Fist of Blue Sapphire, and the Episode One special.
“The son of a world-famous mystery writer, Shinichi Kudo, has achieved his own notoriety by assisting the local police as a student detective,” reads the show’s official synopsis. “He has always been able to solve the most difficult of criminal cases using his wits and power of reason.”
Currently, there are 1,072 episodes of the anime series, which still releases weekly in Japan. Unfortunately for fans looking to get into the series as a whole, there are not many options to do so. As it stands, Crunchyroll has the anime’s first 123 episodes available to stream, but after that, the only episodes available on any English streaming service are episodes 754 through the present releases.
